Jennifer Wooley, Bright Beginnings Preschool Director
Jennifer recently came onboard as director and lead teacher of the Bright Beginnings Preschool for the 2013-14 school year. The challenge of starting the preschool from infancy piqued her interest. After several years of working as a PA certified elementary substitute teacher in the Elizabeth Forward district, this preschool director position seemed to suit Jennifer perfectly; “I feel like this is the culmination of my passion, education, and life experience.”
Jennifer was born and raised in central NY. As a fifth grade student, she realized her interest in teaching. After graduating high school and working in a middle school, however, she decided that her education would focus on the early- and elementary years. She earned 12 credits in Early Childhood Development while working full-time in a preschool/daycare.
Then life happened, and her pursuit of education took a back burner for well more than a decade. When she decided to continue, she shifted gears and delved into it - earning an Assoc. Degree in Teacher Education from CCAC, and continued on to California University of PA to earn a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education.
